Hi, vit is possible that he is infected. Its not necessary that if he is not infected before 6 month then he is also negative at present also. However if ypu don't have trust on test then you should go for confirmatory test again at some other laboratory. just go for test again.

Hello, Sad to hear from you about HIV. If I am your suggesting physician, I advice you and your bf to repeat the test with other test system. There are various test principle(system) in the HIV testing like rapid testing, ELISA testing, NAAT. There is nothing to worry, you can trust the doctors. If you couldnt trust the doctors search the famous laboratory in the iran and advice your bf to test there. If your bf finds second test positive than you can say that he is having HIV. you have tested your bf 8 months a go, but HIV has dynamic immunological changes. SO if he is negative previously 8 month before not necessary that is he is negative this time also.
