What seems "normal" is different for everyone. 3-4 times a day can be "normal" for some, once every other day can be normal for others. You can consider fiber supplements to bulk the stool, additionally if frequency is >6 times a day, you can consider Imodium to slow the bowel function. Do not use if you are worried you have a stool infection.
