How To Stop Continuous Vomiting In A Gastritis Patient?
Hi, I m nayelli, I m 15 and I was diagnosed with gastritis around novemberish- or december and I m not sure if its hereditary or stress-induced because I had severe panic attacks back in dec. Im fine now from my anxiety. But now im stuck with this problem of vomiting or regurgitating my food ALMOST EVERY SINGLE DAY. I had a diet half way through and it helped but then I stopped following it and now it came back even worse since I m eating all the wrong foods. I havent seen a gastro doc yet. Soon though. Im really worried about my esophagus (spchinter??) For two days Ive been throwing up non stop and Im miserable. Can you help me in any way??
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If your vomiting after food intake may be due to gastritis or Peptic ulcer disease or gastric outlet obstruction or cholicystitis or cholangitis or appendicitis etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Get it done ultrasound abdomen and upper GI scopy. use tablet Pantaprazole and Levosulfuride before breakfast for one week. Use tablet Ondonsetron twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query.
