How To Stop Hair Fall Caused Due To Low Iron Levels Though Take Iron And Protein Rich Diet?
Have been on homoeopathic medicine. I have hypothyroidism and take 50 mcg Thyronorm daily. Am a thalassaemia minor but have maintained my iron levels well. My calcium, vit D, testosterone levels and DHEA levels are normal. My ferritin is low because of thalassaemia. I have an iron- and protein-rich diet. Doc diagnosed it as CTE, and advised Anastim lotion, Anaphase shampoo and Regen hair vitalizer. Am also taking Hizide FM and Curlzvit daily. I was losing hair from top of the head but now it is all over. It is the worst at the back of my head. What could I do to stop hairfall?
I think you have been on the right medication by your doctor. CTE(Chronic telogen effluium) is a very likely possibility in your case considering the medical background. The only close diffferential to CTE is Androgenetic Alopecia (even though your hormone levels are normal) which can be difficult to differentiate from CTE
In such a case, in addition to the medicines you are already using, i would have added a topical 2% Minoxidil preparation twice daily on the scalp instead of Anastim and Regen hair vitalizer.
take care
