In males, prostate hypertrophy tumor or prostatitis is common cause which will also be seen on ultrasound. You should drink raspberry tea and plenty of water till you do tests- Also, avoid sexual intercourse, You should reduce salt in your diet as well. In most cases this is self limiting, but sometimes if bleding persist more invasive tests such as cystoscopy or J prothesis insertion may be required, bzt first exact cause should be found.
