How To Stop Taking Gabapentin For Pain?
Hello, My husband was given Gabapentin for pain down his arm. He is only half way tp the full dose of 9 tablets per day (100mg). He is having many stomach problems , irrattic dreams, but the worst is doped-up feeling. How do you stop taking this medication ???

Hello.
I can understand your concern. Gabapentin does cause a lot of drowsiness. There are alternatives or add-on medications which can be considered for neuropathic pain such as Amitriptyline and Carbamazepine. Please consult your physician for the same.
