Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I recently dislocated my knee cap and can not walk. I am on red rest until furthur noticed and I am concered about weight gain. I am about 5'6 and 165 lbs already. How many calories should i be consuming

165 lbs for your height is not very high side but not very morbid. Exercising immediately after knee injury is not at all advisable, have rest for few months. Diet can have enough fibre foods and water intake should be adequate, you can avoid oily and fried stuff but can eat meat. This is something that we can do about controlling weight, no active exercise indicated without the advice of your treating orthopedician.
