How To Stop Vomiting After Suffering A Fall?

My mother is 93 and had a fall in her bedroom yesterday with only bruises, thank god. I have been giving her hydrocoden for the pain from her fall but she has not been vomiting all her food so I have discontinued the hydrocoden. What is your recommendation to stop her vomiting? She has not been able to retain food for 24 hours but I am hydrating her well. Her doctor will not be in till Monday and I don't want to put her through the agony of the emergency room! Please let me know what I can do start her eating well again. Thank you

You have said that she has started vomiting after her fall.Vomiting that that too after a fall should not be taken lightly particularly for a 93 year old.you have to take her to a emergency room and the doctor on duty will analyse her neurological signs and symptoms and will probably suggest a CAT scan to rule out any bleeding in the brain.Take her to a doctor immediately without delay.
