How To Take Care Of Child With Typhoid To Prevent Worsening?
hi. my 5 year old daughter was diagnosed w/ typhoid fever just this morning. She has on and off fever and headache. What other measures should i perform to prevent the worsening/relapsing of he condition. She was asked to take Tergecef antibiotic. Thanx and more power

Hi,
As antibiotic for typhoid is continue, within few days she will be alright.
Give medicine in time as advised by your doctor.
Give her liquid diet like milk, fruit juices, rice, buttermilk.
Avoid giving solid food or junk food which is difficult to digest as there is infection in intestines.
Give enough water.
Give her complete rest.
Ok and take care.
