How To Terminate The Pregnancy Safely?

It has been 10 days I skipped my period. Tested at home it was negative. Consulted my doctor even he didnt sw the sac during usg so heprescribed Norethisterone 5mg once a day. I took the dose for 3 days ....Bt ws sure of pregnancy....so tested again at home...n nw it's positive.....I don't want to continue with it. What should be the procedure? Please suggest

Hello,
Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. Since you have a positive pregnancy test, report the same to your consultant and get a trans-vaginal sonogram performed to locate the gestation sac and the age of the pregnancy. As you do not wish to retain the pregnancy, you can ask for an induced medical abortion, if you are fit. The process takes 2-3 days. Follow up sonogram is done after two weeks to check for any retained products and establish completion of the process. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
