How To Terminate Unwanted Pregnancy At Home?

i had unprotected intercourse with my gf last month , her period due date is 3rd of jan but she has not got her period yet. she is 23 .no pills were taken till now will she be pregnant .if so how to come out of this pregnancy without clinic cos she lives with her family

At first, she needs to undergo one home pregnancy test or blood test for beta-hCG to rule out pregnancy.

On positive test, medical abortion is the best choice to terminate early pregnancy. She needs one Trans Vaginal ultrasound to know the nature of conception (tubal/ uterine) before taking abortion pill.

However, self administration of abortion pill is NOT recommended. She doesn't go for that as it is illegal in some country.

The abortion procedure is associated with several risks and complications like nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramp, excessive vaginal bleeding, fainting etc. She can't control them by yourself at home without doctor's help.

This process can be done at home if you consult once with LOCAL DOCTOR as she has to go for follow up examination after 2 weeks to confirm that abortion process is completed.

One pelvic ultrasound scan may be required to check retained bits. Around 5% women may need D & C or suction (surgical method) to evacuate the uterine cavity.
