Hi. I m 115 lbs,5 4 and 31 yrs old. I do not eat much meat. I d would like to gain 7to 8 pounds.I workout 3 times a week and take in about 60 grams or more of protein a day. I ve been doing this for about a month now and I ve lost 3 lbs. Why is this? I really want to tone up and gain muscle. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your time. Melissa Hacker
If you are more interested in gaining muscle mass then you would need to do more strength training exercises then cardio exercises. They are both important but the strength would increase your lean muscle mass.
You may want to consult a trainer to find out which exercises would be best for you.
