How To Treat 10-15 Pus Cells And Blood In Urine In An Infant?
hi my 0ne year old daughter detect u with 10-15 pus cells and blood in urine,after a course of aantibiotics its again checked and detected 8-10 pus cells with one bacteria prsence,she is active eats food,plays everything.plz help me am i need to have more medical aid

In case of UTI it is preferable to do urine culture before starting antibiotic treatment. Antibiotic should be given for 14 days.If repeat urine is normal then medicine can be stopped. USG kub is also needed.After stopping antibiotic we start UTI prophylaxis (I.e.urifast or septran or cephalexin in very small UTI prophylaxis doses.)MCU should be done after one month when on prophylaxis medicines.
