Hello,

I'm sorry to hear that your boyfriend has been abusing Klonopin. I agree that if he is over 50 and has normal brain function he should know that what he is doing is dangerous. Also, his doctor should not be prescribing this medication to him if he is abusing it. It is not your fault, the best thing you can do is make sure his doctor knows what is happening and ask him to stop prescribing this medication. Then your boyfriend needs to find help for his addiction. I know these things are not easy, but if you help your boyfriend face these problems and get freedom from his addiction, it will be the best thing for everyone.

I hope that helps and that you can get help for your boyfriend. He is fortunate to have someone who cares about him like you, and I hope he can find the reason to change his life. Please let me know if you have any other questions for me.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch,
