How To Treat A Brown Circle With Flaky Appearance?

I am a black african male, i have recently noticed a brown cirle on my back near my shoulder blades....it is about 2.5 cm in circumfrence. It is showing os a slightly darker shade of my skin and has a flaky apperance. it is the only one i have and has gone and come back at the same place now.
