How to treat a chronic ear infection? I have been having ear infections for last 5 years now. They can come anytime but usually have a pattern of near autumn or spring. I get swollen glands and sharp penetrating pain in the right ear. I also have a lot of wax buildup in my ear. Once had a black builder full of pus and blood coming out of ear which finally burst open to give me much relief from the pain. The series of ear infection started after an air journey, dot know if it is relate to it. I want a permanent cure to this, if any. Please advice.
