Hi,

Sometimes shaving can lead to the development of folliculitis due to ingrown hair, that may form an abscess. The steps that can possibly help your daughter are:
-Continuing Sitz bath thrice or twice a day fro 10 to 15 minutes each time.
-If pus is still present, better to consult your gynecologist once, get examined and go for systemic antibiotics along with local antibiotics.
-Analgesic and antiinflammatory drugs can help in decreasing the pain and signs of inflammation.
-Better to use a dressing that can absorb and allow the drainage of pus.
-Avoid shaving for a few weeks.
-If the problem recurs or if there is any family history of diabetes, better to check for blood sugar levels once.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
