General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and thank you for asking Healthcaremagic.

I am Dr.Endri Katro and I will be answering at your questions.

All the changes in your diet (plenty of water, fibre stool softeners ect ) will only help with the symptoms. Unfortunately the only treatment for an anal fissure is through surgery.

I suggest you consult a proctologist (colo-rectal surgeon) for the surgery.

If you have any other question, feel free to contact me.
