I have a history of migraines, have had one all day today. The question that I have is should I be concerned if my head hurts more when stand up, or bend over. I do not have high blood pressure problems, most of the time my blood pressure is on the low side.

How To Treat A Person With History Of Migraines?
Hi thanks for contacting a health care magic...... Noted you have history of migraine... So whenever migraine headache there rest in cool and dark place away from bright light..... If needed ibuprofen taken. If that is not helping in relieving headache take rizatriptan like drug..... If repeated migraine attack comes prophylactic drugs like beta blocker ,or amitryptillin given.. Bright light , stress , smoking , inadequate sleep are some precipitating factor for headache. Yoga , muscle relaxation useful Lavender oil topical application useful. Excess coffe avoided. Take care. Dr.Parth
