How To Treat A Small Bump On An Elderly Female Forehead?
My 95 year old mother fell onto the cement backporch. She stumbled on the 2 inch step. This resulted in a knot on her forehead above her left eye. My sister and I have her sitting in a chair with her feet up. We put icepacks on the bump and it has reduced considerably. She is not complaining of pain except for being sore when we lay the ice pack on it. She is alert and wants to crochet. She is in great health and gets around by herself in the house without assistance. Is there anything else we should do? We want to keep her awake and alert and she understands this. She is in amazing health, both physically and mentally for her age. Thank you.
