Hi, my son recently came back from a staycation and we notice one red bump on his left feet. After a few days tiny red bumps appear on his sole which do not look like blister and has no pus. In a week time his feet started to peel and it kind of spread to his hands now. He has no fever and his blood test shows he has caught a virus. How can i stop his peeling? It seems so bad. Im applying aquaphor to his feet but nt his hands but doesnt seems to help. Thks!
As per your query you have symptoms of spreading bump which occurs due to fungal infection mainly. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep infected area clean and dry. You should apply mild corticosteroid like desonide and antifungal cream twice a day. You should visit dermatologist once and get it examined. Start treatment after proper prescription. You should drink plenty of water. Avoid taking sharp and fried food. You should apply 1% pimecrolimus, 1% metronidazole gel.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
