How To Treat A Tender Bruised Bump On The Forehead Caused Due To An Injury?

I had a recent fainting spell. I am 52. I believe it was due to a sudden drop of blood pressure. I landed face first on my tile floor, and now have 2 black eyes, and a large bruised bump on my forehead (point of impact) which has begun to become soft in the center. I am avoiding the hospital due to the fact that I am aware that it will automatically be considered as a case of domestic violence. I am just wondering what the softness in the center might mean. This happened 3 nights ago, and the bump is now tender to the touch but not nearly as painful as before. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Michelle

you have developed a hematoma which may get secondarily infected. you can start hot fomentation with lukewarm water twice daily. in addition you can start on a mild antibiotic like cepkelexin orally along with an antiinflammatory like tab Diclofenac ( voveran ) orally
