How To Treat Allergic Skin Rashes Caused Due To Fabric?
I have a rash around areas by contact with a new mastectomy bra. Perhaps it is a different type of fabric? But then I noticed I also have a rash by areas contacted by my underpants. They are cotton and I have worn them before with no problem. I took a couple Benedryl. Should I wait until the morning and check the area then?
Hello Thanks for the query. Probably you have developed contact dermatitis. It is an allergic reaction. In your case it might be due to contact with rubber elastic which is present in your undergarments. Benadryl should help you. Remove these clothes and apply a mild steroid cream like cortisone. This should help you. Let me know if you have any other doubts. Thanks
