How To Treat An Injured Throat?

Earlier today my 6 year old daughter jumped up for me to pick her up as I bent down to hug her. In the process of miscommunication her shoulder bone was thrust in to my neck/throat with a decent amount of force. Since then my throat hurts externally from being hit and I keep feeling like I have to clear my throat, sometime when I try to talk my voice sounds raspy. Since I have been clearing my throat much more than normal it is starting to hurt internally like a "cold type" sore throat.

Advise please.....Thanks!
