How To Treat Ankle Pain With Red Blotchy Skin?
I was out shopping for hours today and all of a sudden right above my ankles started to sting while I was in line at a store. When I got out to my car I took a look and had this red blotchy skin. it almost looks like what I get around my ankles when I am out in the sun to long in the summer.

From history it looks to me that it can be a insect bite or a contact dermatitis. Insect bite can stinging pain, also it can appear like reddish itchy area. My advice to you is apply ice over it and take antihistamines like avil or atarax. This will help in getting swelling reduced and also pain will be less. Other cause can be contact dermatitis. Any way treatment is almost same. If lesion does not get better, show to a dermatologist.
