My son and I had a domestic accident from hot oil when he was 17 months old the hot oil poured on the back of his head and since then that part of his head has remain bald with no hair. Just curious to know if there is hope for us apart from surgery or hair grafting
It is cicatricial alopecia. So, there is no chance for hair growth in patch. However, consult the plastic surgeon to know whether hair transplant is possible or not. If the patch is small, that may be removed surgically by him.
Hope this helps.
