How To Treat Birth Control Pill Mediated Throat Hoarseness?

Hello, I am lately experiencing (as I am getting older) that my throat is becomming hoarse sounding particularly when I take my birth control pills. I am also experiencing a weird sensation in my mouth like if I had just eaten a spicy food... but I have not. I know this sounds strange but is it a sign of something like throat cancer? thanks for your response

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of having hoarseness of voice, weird sensation in the mouth as if eaten spicy food, and this happens particularly when you take birth control pills.
I would advise you the following:
To rule out the throat cancer, you need to undergo and upper GI Endoscopy to see if there is any problem.
MRI of the throat and mouth.
Stop the birth control pills.
Take multivitamins and folic acid.
Take PPI like Omeprazole, domperidone if there are signs of GERD- gastroesophageal reflux disease.
