I had been diagnosed with blighted ovum around 4 weeks...I never went to do a d&c I Gould be 7 weeks 4 days I ve been spotting brown for a week now, I went to the restroom an hour ago an I sneezed and a brown blood clot fell out, when I wiped there was grey slimy stuff on the tissue? What could this all be?
When blighted ovum is diagnosed that has to be removed either by medical termination, or by D&C depending on the gestational age. retaining the blighted ovum can lead to infections or coagulatory abnormalities. Now that issue you mention could be a part of the layers of the blighted ovum.
As it is not sure if the blighted ovum is completely expelled or not. So, better to get examined once. By clinical examination and ultrasound the exact status of the process of expulsion can be identified and if there are any retained products of conception, you may need to go for a D&C depending on your doctor's advice.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
