Four days ago I had a turp operation> The catherter was inserted from tuesday morning until thursday evening. Now I have blisters on my penis as well as bruising. what can i do to treat these blisters. will this bruising go away? are there any consequences related to the blisters and bruising
welcome to the forum. These could be the result of excessive instrumentation due to a long procedure. Bruises usually do not need anything and they will disappear with time. Blisters need to be inspected to find out if they need any topical antibioticointments. Kindly take medical advice. Also oral antibiotics, if not already given are advisable for 5 to 7 days. Maintain good penile hygiene. Avoid moisture to remain there. Your Urologist will examine the area and advise the proper treatment. If you're not a diabetic, it usually subsides over a week or so. There's no other consequence, you need to worry about. Wish you a speedy recovery.
