Hallo! This morning I woke up feeling as though a cold might be coming on due to a sensation of blockage in my throat. When I stuck a finger down my throat, I could feel a small fleshy growth, more like a flap than a bump, on the left side. Possible range of causes?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of blockage of throat which seems to be due to tonsils infection/upper respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry. You should take proper course of antibiotic Ciprofloxacin along with anti-inflammatory medications. Avoid intake of hot, spicy and sharp food. Avoid cold beverages and take small meals at a time. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. You should maintain oral hygiene. Do warm saline gargles.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
