How To Treat Bloody Thick Nasal Discharge In A 2 Months Old Child?

2 month year old boy weighing 3 kg suffering from -

bloody thick nasal discharge with fever since 1 day

on examination crepts in chest during inspiration.

WHAT KIND OF TREATMENT IS ADVICED ?

(a local doctor sent us to higher centre without even checking temperature using thermometer )

From what you described it looks serious infection and in my view what local doctor did was perfect.Crepts on inspiration are heard in pneumonia. It can cause bloody nasal discharge too.In 2 months child this type of infection requires immediate hospitalisation and iv antibiotics
