Still the area is in phase of spasm. Spasm is body’s natural, protective response mechanisms, a muscle spasm is an involuntary, sustained contraction of the muscle fibres in response to
injury or inflammation.
Here is my advice to you-
1. After three days, you can start using heat to loosen muscle tightness and increase blood flow till than continue icing.
2. If it still painfull Anti-Inflammatory will help you

Muscle relaxant can help in loosing the spasm
4. Gentle
massage with luke warm oil will loosen and relax the muscles, manage pain, improve circulation and relieve
stress and tension.
Once the pain comes down start will gentle streching of that muscle.
