This is collection of blood in the muscles .It is called hematoma and it is common after fall as there is injury to blood vessels and there rupture causes extravasation of the blood in the muscles leading to formation of lump. Its size depends up on how much blood has come out of it. So for now you need following treatment.
1. Antibiotics to prevent infection in the blood.
2. Analgesics like Brufen or Voveron to treat pain and swelling.
3. Hot water fomentation so that this blood get absorbed faster.
Some time when blood volume is much larger then it may needed to be removed with the help of needle, but it is not required most of the time.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist Tehzib Saiyed's  Response
Dear Sir/ Madam,

Thank you for posting your query on healthcaremagic.com

Still the area is in phase of spasm. Spasm is body’s natural, protective response mechanisms, a muscle spasm is an involuntary, sustained contraction of the muscle fibres in response to injury or inflammation.
Here is my advice to you-
1. After three days, you can start using heat to loosen muscle tightness and increase blood flow till than continue icing.
2. If it still painfull Anti-Inflammatory will help you
3. Muscle relaxant can help in loosing the spasm
4. Gentle massage with luke warm oil will loosen and relax the muscles, manage pain, improve circulation and relieve stress and tension.

Once the pain comes down start will gentle streching of that muscle.

Hope this is helpful to you. In case if you have any further query please revert back back me, I will be happy to assist you.

With best wishes
Tehzib Saiyed(PT)
