How To Treat Bump On Scrotum Of A Child?

My son is 6 years old and has a red bump on his scrotum. the first two days it was just like an eraser now it looks like a scratched mosiqueto bite. Could it be something other than a bug bit. the second day of the bump he had the runs and vomited once.

Hi

If the red lesion is not spreading and there is no fever/ pus discharge from it, you need not do anything.
You may apply some ointments like sofradex/ T bact.

If it just a solitary lesion, its unlikely that the loose stools and vomiting are related to it.

In case if he has fever and if the rashes are spreading or if you see any pus discharge from it, please visit your Pediatrician.

Hope my answer helps.
Wish your son good health.
