Hi,

Burning sensation in throat when after using bleach can be due to irritation of throat mucosa with bleach fumes as it contains voletile chemicals..

In case if you have no other symptoms then you need not to worry as the symptoms can pass gradually as the inflammation and irritation of the throat mucosa subsides..

But if there is a worsening of symptoms or there is dizziness or any other symptoms then you should consult an Emergency room and get evaluated.

For now you can take Ibuprofen and see if it improves.
Also drink cool water.
Avoid any spicy or irritant and hard foods..

Also do warm saline gargles. Take light meals..

Hope I have answered your query. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Honey Arora,
