How To Treat Burns Caused By Accidental Contact With Bike Silencer?

I burned my leg on a motorcycle pipe and the burn is really irritated and it hurt to even put pressure on my foot or walk. I spoke with a dr today and he told me to put polysporin on it but it seems to get worse. When I am sitting it throbs really bad. What do I need to do?

hello,thanx for ur query, in my opinion u have superficial burn , it can be treated with oint.silverex( silver sulphadiazine) for local application. tab.brufen 400mg twice daily for 3 days for pain. to avoid infection cap.amoxcillin 500mg thrice daily for 5 days. all d best.take care.
