Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My child is 10 years old. He had fever only for a few hours on Sunday night. Woke up Monday with no fever and some calf pain bilaterally. Tuesday, the pain was worse only when walking. No pain when laying down. Continues to have pain. What is your advise? Thanks
Has your child sustained any injury in the leg? More like a prock by a thorn? Cause he is showing symptoms of a condition called cellulitis. Are there any swellings or skin color change in the legs?. Approach nearby hospital if symptom continues. The doctor may examine and suggest test for filariasis also. Meanwhile give syrup ibugesic. That may relieve pain and prevent further episodes of fever.
