How To Treat Chest Pain And Breathlessness Due To Hole In The Heart?
I m in the military and the miliary doctors don t do their jobs too well, I was told in 2012 that I have a heart murmur. I was then sent to the hospital to do a bubble study which showed I had a hole in my heart. Nothing happened they just gave me aspirin. 2014 rolled around I started having really bad chest pains and shortness of breath. Took plenty of test, went to the hospital numerous times. Nothing done. Referred me off post and it seems as if this doctor is full of it. At this point I just want to med board because I don t feel like myself anymore.

hi what hole you have mentioned can be either an atrial or ventricular septal defect. the symptoms again depend on how extensive the defect is. when you have chest pain, breathlessness, and murmur,it is more so indicative of treatment,
once again the other co-existing conditions with other cardiac defects also matters, whether you are in a condition to get operated or medically managed. if it is corrective septal defect, you can go for a device closure procedure or for surgical treatment. all the best, take care.
