Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, Doctor I have a problem of constipation. I hardly go to toilet once in 6/7 days and that also very little as compare to intake or I can say it is just very few. I have to be in toilet for about 30/45 mins just to shit few. could you please suggest any natural or locally available solution.
I understand the inconvenience he must be facing..I suggest him to have foodstuffs with lots of fiber content like fruits and green leafy vegetables which will increase the bulk of stools facilitating easy passage of stools, avoid fast foods, spicy and oily foods, drink plenty of water, do adequate exercise regularly..If not relieved by this you can try taking cremaffin plus to relieve your symptoms. But I suggest you refer a gastroenterologist and ask his advice about doing a colonoscopy if the symptoms are not relieved.
Hope you find my answer useful.
Regards,
Dr. Tushar Tamboli
