How To Treat Cyst On The Bridge Between My Eyes And Nose?
i have a bump on the bridge between my eyes and nose. it is a cyst the doctor said, he use a fancy doctor term and I have to get it cut out, would they have to put me to sleep to do that, doc said he will do it in his operation room and he have to put something over my eyes
It seems destined I would answer this question today more significantly so because I performed an operation earlier this month for a similar skin growth in the same region in my outpatient OPD at Vikram Hospital , Bangalore.
Also significant is that May2014 has been designated by the WHO as 'skin cancer awareness & prevention month'!
The location of your lesion merits an excision biopsy for sure! I don't know what terms your doctor used but Keratoacanthoma, Basal cell Carcinoma & a Simple Sebaceous cyst are all possibilities.
The procedure per se can be done in the OPD as I did mine under local anaesthesia & the patient is fully conscious & alert at the time.
Good Luck & hope the tumor/cyst is excised in toto & you are soon in the clear. Dr Praveen Rodrigues MD
