Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
We just discovered a dent, in the shape of a c, on the back of my three year old's head. He acts normal and has no symptoms. He did, however, hit his head on a hard floor about a month back in the same spot. What could this be and what should we do about it?
Hi.... I do not think you should worry about it. First be reassured that your kid is normal. I will suggest you danger signs of head injury - 1. Vomiting continuously 2. Seizures 3. Watery of bloody discharge from ears and nose 4. Unconsciousness 5. Altered sensorium or behaviour. If none of them are present, I don't think you should worry about his trivial head injury. Regards - Dr. Sumanth
