Doctor, if i have diarrhea and i am using nifuroxazide(antinal) ,can i stop use that drug because i feel more worst if i still using that drug. At the same time, i feel like that drug help me a lot for couple days before but i am afraid if i stop using that drug my diarrhea will not better. Thanx:)
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
First of all, it is the matter of concern that diarrhea you have is due to some infection or due to systemic disease because the passing of stool 3 to 4 times in a day is not the illness and it may not need any treatment again. If this was diarrhea, which needed treatment, and you had it then you do not need to have it again.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Akhtarhusain
