I have discoloration and slightly raised area in my groin on both sides, but one worse that the other. It is itchy but that can comes and goes. When scratched, skin becomes white and flakey , can get to the point of being raw. It does not affect the vaginal area at all only the groin? I have been having problems with it on and off for a year.
It could be a fungal infection. As a first line management you can apply topical antifungals like clotrimazole for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
