How To Treat Discomfort While Urination Along With Cloudy Urine In A 64 Years Old Patient With Type 2 Diabetes?
Hi l am 64+ yrs old and I am also a type2 diabetic. For about 2-3days now I have been experiencing discomfort when I urinate. My urine is cloudy. I have stopped drinking coffee and reduced my tea intake while trying to increase water. The discomfort has not subsided. I am visiting with my daughter who just had a baby. I am wondering if there is any over the counter remedy I can take for relief until I get back home by the end of Feb.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. The problem appears to be due to the urinary tract infection.the other possibility is the prostatitis,or a stone in the bladder. I advise you to consult an urologist for diagnosis and treatment . You may need to have a urine examination and ultrasound for confirmation. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, ornidazole, and alkaline citrate. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
