How To Treat Ear Infection?

hello i have been stretching my ear for a year now and i skipped to a 18mm from a 14mm (these are known as gauges) earlobe stretching and i think i have an infection inside its got this bump which bleeds and its sore and the bottom of my ear it's thicker and sensitive :( can you help? i have tried putting salt water on

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have ear infection which seems to be due to fungal infection, wax build up, fluid accumulation, Eustachian tube dysfunction and systemic disease infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles , take steam twice a day and apply warm dry compresses to external ear . Put Otogesic ear drops. You should go for audiometer testing as well to check hearing level.I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis. Doctor may examine by otoscopic means to check level of infection. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin at least for a week along with decongestants.
