How To Treat Eczema In Breast And Itchiness At Back?

I was diagnosed with ezcema about 6 months ago due to excessive hand washing. I also have eczema on my breast (I also breast feed my baby). About 3 weeks ago during a really stressful time, i seem to have gotten a flareup. I have symptoms of OCD so I rarely touch foreign objects and I dont really touch people. I hug my children and co sleep with my baby. My husband and I dont sleep in the same bad since the baby was born. For the past 3 weeks my back itches, my buttocks, and my legs. I dont itch all day, but at night. I dont itch all night and am able to sleep. I dont know what is happening and I take about 2 benadryls a day. One at a time. When i itch, it started out as bumps then turns into patches of dry flaky skin. topical steroids really dont work. I scratch so hard that I bruise. I had a patch on my face but it went away a couple of days after the initial flare up. Im at a loss...please help. I am the only one with these symptoms.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi good morning , you could be having a fungal infection.. I would advise you to apply a topical antifungal cream twice a day for 10 days on the affected area. Since you are lactating, i would advise you not to take oral antifungal medication... Do take a non sedating antihistaminic ,one at night for a week, that should help you with itching...
