Urologist 's  Response
Hi. An enlarged prostate with history of retention of urine resulting in catheterization and failed voiding trial... It is an absolute indication for surgery- TURP. Till the time u r delayed with surgery, u have to stay on catheterization. U can continue with Tamsulosin and Dutasteride combination. This will help in less bleeding during surgery.
