How To Treat Excess Protein From Urine?

I expect that I may have excessive protein in my urine (proteinuria). When I urinate it is kind of bubbly. I have no other signs of kidney problems. Could this be a by product of eating a lot of meat, or is this a waste protein from the body. If I increase my water consumption will this help?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per my clinical experience, the protein in urine can be from multiple reasons, the main of which are kidney infection, filtration issues as glomerulopathies and so forth.

Basic diagnosis needs urine culture, ultrasound of the KUB, serum creatinine, complete blood count reports for the root cause management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
