How To Treat Face Reddening And Thin Skin After Withdrawal From Skinlite Cream?

Hi doc,,i have a question about my skin,, i have used skinlite cream with doctor's prescription..some days latar effects of sunlite skin is very good and became my face more lighter,but when i have stoped to use it then my face colour became red.and skin became thin...so pls give me a suggestion and help me....

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Skinlite cream contains Steroid Mometasone furoate along with Tretinin and Hydroquinone and although this is an effective combination in reducing skin pigmentation and dark spots but long term use of steroid has severe side effects on skin and the symptoms of skin thinning and inflammation causing redness and rashes seems to be the side effect of the steroid..
I would suggest you to completely stop the use of steroid and do not ever use it in future..
As of now you can take anti allergics like Benadryl in case if there is inflammation and itching..
You should do cool compresses over the face and also wash your face frequently throughout the day with cool water..
You can apply aloevera gel for lubrication..
Avoid all types of skin cosmetics..
You can also avoid sun exposure..
Once the skin improves you can apply Kojic acid and vitamin E containing creams for improving skin complexion..
