Hello,

I understand by history that this CIDP is troubling you much. As what treatment you have been undergoing is not known and you haven't mention any. But what appears from your mentioned history is you do have improvement and its weakness which is bothering you of the foot.

Well, the first foremost thing you should try is doing nerve conduction study and EMG study. Which will help us understand that what are the muscles involved in non functioning state.

Next you didn't mention about one foot or two? So I assume it is one leg involved and that has got some correction to workout.

First foremost you need to have a help from a talented physiotherapist who can make the other foot stronger and even work on the injured foot. Next plan of action will be decided bases on the muscle grading of the uninvolved foot. if the strength is optimum then you need to contact a good orthopedic surgeon who can do Tendon transfer operation. Post the operation you need to again see a physiotherapist who can retrain the new tendon with the help of exercise and stimulation to achieve desired movement in the affected limb.

I feel your problem can be resolved the maximum.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
