Hi, my husband got his sperm culture and has growth of staph in the semens.the doc prescribed ciflox tablet for him, do I need to get the drug also for myself the wife.
Secondly ,I have constant candid and have took doxy tab prescribed by my doc but still I am still releasing some discharge , a bit in blocks like mustard seed with little fowl smear. Pls what do I do.
As a prophylaxis you can take antibiotic also. But you have mentioned that You have taken Tab doxycycline then there is no need for other antibiotic.
As you are suffering from recurrent Candida infection, it is advised to take antifungal treatment for it. Intravaginal agents like Clotrimazole or butoconazole or miconazole can be taken along with single dose of oral agent like Fluconazole. Doxycycline is not given for Candidal Vaginitis.
